San Diego State's second week of fall camp will be delayed after the school announced it is postponing Monday night's practice amid chickenpox concerns.

The announcement comes just three days after linebacker Tyler Morris was diagnosed with chickenpox and two days after starting offensive lineman Ryan Pope and linebacker Temerick Harper reported that they both felt ill.

Morris has been kept away from the team since last Friday following the news, but both Pope and Harper traveled in the team bus on SDSU's way to its practice held in Miramar that same day.

Both players reported their symptoms of chickenpox on Saturday morning and did not play in the team's first scrimmage. They were, however, seen on the sidelines during warmups as they awaited their prescription medicine from the team doctor.

Head coach Rocky Long pointed out that Harper sits next to Morris in position meetings and Pope happens to be Harper's roommate.

According to UT reporter Kirk Kenney, two more players are now involved.

Kenney also reported that the weight room and locker room will be cleaned and scrubbed, causing the postponement of practice.

On Twitter, defensive lineman Anthony Luke's mother revealed that Luke's roommate is involved.

Players with chickenpox will miss 1-3 weeks depending on the effectiveness of the medication. The Aztecs just completed week one of fall camp and will hold its first public scrimmage on Saturday at Qualcomm Stadium for Aztec Fan Fest.

Practice is scheduled to resume on Monday.
