Arlington lineman sees stock soar
Recruiting fans likely do not know the name of Arlington (TX) High offensive tackle Luke Joeckel. However, they will hear his name quite a bit over the next year. The 6-foot-6, 280-pound junior admits that even he is surprised by the attention he has received already.

"It was an amazing atmosphere," said Joeckel. "It was the craziest football game that I've ever been a part of or been to. It was just crazy. That was the first time I'd ever been to a game there, so I didn't know what to expect. The whole game, they were screaming. The fact that that there were 85,000 people at a game and they were all going nuts was awesome. It'd be amazing to play in front of that."
