After playing for a year at safety for Mount San Antonio Junior College, Jason Wells is ready to make his mark. In fact, Wells has been marking up the odd test and hitting the books before he gets a chance to start hitting opposing receivers.

"I've been taking classes already, during the summer session I've been into this American Indian studies class."

After spending some time at Pasadena Community College, Wells got his first taste of Husky life enrolling at Washington for winter quarter 2006, participating in spring drills and the spring game, garnering three tackles while forcing and recovering a fumble.

Although on the same coast, Wells says that departing from his native California will take some getting used to.
