UCLA receivers have depth

BruinSportsReport.com Whoever gets the starting quarterback nod will be throwing to a very talented group of wide receivers. Running backs coach/recruiting coordinator Dino Babers did a great job at the position since he arrived on the scene and drastically improved the position. Every facet of the position has been improved.
The drops decreased from a few years ago. The routes were better and as a group, the receivers blocked extremely well.
Maurice Drew wouldn't have been able to break all the those long runs without great down field blocking.
It is little details such receivers making a touchdown springing block that is the difference between wins and losses.
Enter new wide receiver coach D.J. McCarthy. He comes to the Bruins with a very impressive resume and already made his presence felt this past spring.
One drill even had the media guys talking in the stands. It was a drill that looked like synchronized swimming, meaning every receiver was running the same route at the same time.
