Film review: Joe Mathis

The offer list for Upland, California defensive lineman Joe Mathis stretches as long as the eye can see. All the Pac-12 has offered save Oregon and the Big Ten and Big 12 are all making their play for him.

Duck Sports Authority took a look at the junior film clips of Joe Mathis and came away with these notes and observations.

Hands: Not very refined but shows flashes of the ability to use them well in these clips, in one exploding into two blockers in succession. Showed a nice swim move using both arms well in one clip. Shows good arm strength overpowering his blocker on occasions.
